Thread: Doing Surveys For VIP? (POLL)

This would open up a world of non legit VIP members, people's whose only plan would be to leech.

Also, whether we like or not there is a certain level of respect VIP members gain through the community just for being VIP. It shows these people were willing to pay for access to a special section so why would they risk it doing something stupid. If they could get VIP from a few false details an an email address how would it look?

You sort of have a good point...yet I don't see a difference between paying and filling out 8 surveys. Not everyone has a credit card.

I personally agree with snipes on this one, more VIP would be great, and yeah not everyone has a credit card, but the way to get VIP now is set up perfectly to limit the amount of people who leech etc, and if they wanted it that bad, they make those universal gift cards that can be attached to paypal...

If they don't have a credit card then they simply have to wait till they get 500 posts, if they can't wait that long then they were never a loyal member to begin with.


We have it all balanced out right now I see no logical reason to change it.


Edit: I don't see why we can't find another section to use survey's in. Ill pitch some idea's over MSN when you log on.

@Davee. The difference in paying and filling out 8 surveys is that people will be faithful to a site that they think is worth 10$ to be a VIP in. If its free alot of people will start rushing to complete this surveys and they will be lots of leeches as snipes says

I have to agree with all these guys. Lately because of sites like thebotnet.com it is becoming easier and easier to bot these surveys. Or maybe you should try it for one day and see how many VIP's were acquired in one day.

heres a idea why not make people wait two be able two take surveys like may have post like 150 posts? two take them?

no, like snipes said, it would have a bunch of leechers. We want people willing to pay. It's possible for 1 person to leech are whole VIP and leak it into the world (don't get any ideas). And i generally trust people who would buy it
